RUQYAH ...

What is ruqyah? Ruqyah or Rukyah (Arabic: رقية; English: exorcism) is a technique of healing by reciting something to a sick particular person because of 'ain (envious eye), animal stings, can, magic, pain, insanity, possession and demonic interference. /p>

These ruqyah verses encompass:

Surah Al-Fatihah: 1-7 سورة الفاتحة

Surah Al-Baqarah: 1-5, 102, 163-164, 255, 285-286, Surah Al-Baqra

Surah Ali-Imran: 18-19, Surah Al-'Araf: 54-56, 117- 122, سورة الأعراف

Surah Yunus: 81-82, سورة يونس

Surah Taha: 69, سورة ه

Surah Al-Mukminun: 115-118, Surah As-Soffaat: 1-10, Surah Al-Ahqaaf: 29-32, Surah Ar-Rahman: 33-36, سورة الرحمن

Surah Al-Hasyr: 21-24, سورة الحشر

Surah Al-Jin: 1-9, سورة الجن

Surah Al-Ikhlas: 1-4 سورة الخلاص

Surah Al-Falaq: 1-5 سورة الفلق

Surah An-Naas: 1-6 سورة الناس

It is mentioned in a hadith that the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W was once cleansed ir individuals, in order that the Angel Gabriel came and taught ruqyah to him by reciting Al-Mu'awwidzat in order that the affect of the magic disappears.

Al-Mu'awwidzat consists of three surahs which may be the highest among others that's

-Surah Al-Ikhlas سورة الخلاص

-Surah Al-Falaq سورة الفلق

-Surah An-Naas سورة الناس

At the end of life Rasulullah S.A.W was in a state of sickness. He meruqyah himself by reciting Al-Mu'awwidzat, when his sickness worsened, then Aisyah who recited ruqyah with Al-Mu'awwidzat. (Hadith narrated by Al Bukhari and Muslim).

From Abu Said that the Prophet S.A.W used to at all times take refuge from the influence of the eyes of jinn and humans, when the two letters came down, he changed them with each and left the others (Hadith narrated At-Tirmidhi).
