The AlpenApp is an interactive app with nearly four hundred alpine flowers and one thousand beautiful pictures from the High Alps of Austria, Switzerland and France.

Search by household, Dutch and scientific identify or benefit from the skilled nature pictures of Wil Leurs and Alpine botanist Franck le Driant.

The app pays particular attention to gentians, primroses and rock plants from greater altitudes (up to 4200 metres). In order not to make the app too massive, no trees and shrubs have been included.

Kids version

The Alpenapp has a youngsters model. You can choose this version via settings. The app will then only show the Dutch names. That's simpler than the Dutch and scientific names on the similar time.

The story behind the Alpine app

Unique to this app is that the muse has been laid with 800 photographs of alpine fanatics from the Netherlands and Belgium . These photos of hikers and climbers have been used to make a primary number of crops that stand out. Some of those photographs are even included within the Alpenapp! The ultimate choice for the Alpenapp was made with specialists from the botanical backyard in Haren and the Jardin D'altitude.
